Talk:Julie Covington
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The split of albums between "Solo" and "Soundtracks etc." doesn't look right. Is "Julie Covington" a soundtrack ? -- Beardo 10:03, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Good spot. Corrected - and headings re-written. Davidpatrick 11:27, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
I don't think her birth date is correct. Julie and I were close friends in the 60's and if I recall correctly she's a bit older than me and I was born in February 1947. The years have clouded the memory, I can't recall her birthday. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.92.159.14 (talk) 16:43, August 24, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Evita
This is only personal recollection and as such not allowed on Wikipedia (nor, as from Old Moonraker, is it particularly reliable) but didn't the stage producers reject Covington in favour of Paige? I've added a {{fact}} request. Apologies if I'm wasting contributors' time with my imperfect recall of events! --Old Moonraker (talk) 16:19, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- I was wrong. Ref to follow shortly. --Old Moonraker (talk) 06:02, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
