[edit] Best Producer?
Is it accurate to say that someone is nominated for producing a film? The film itself, not the producer(s), is nominated for Best Picture. ForDorothy 14:27, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
- It's a fine point. It's producer-people who get the kudos of the statuette on their mantels, and nobody in Hollywood history knew how to exploit that better than Julia.
- On your edit to the main article -- another fine point. Her actual credit on those productions was Producer, not Co-producer. In the logic of Hollywood, being one of three producers does not necessarily make you a co-producer. But I'm not inclined to revert.
