Julius Neave

Major Julius Arthur Sheffield Neave CBE, MBE, JP, DL (Essex) (born 17 July 1919) was the General Manager of Mercantile and General Reinsurance and a leading figure in the Lloyd's insurance market.

He was educated at Sherborne and he was commissioned to the 13th/18th Hussars, with whom he saw active service. The politician Airey Neave was a first cousin.

He married the New Zealand-born Helen Acton-Adams in 1951 and they have three daughters.
