Julius Darmaatmadja (born December 20, 1934 in Jagang, Muntilan) in Central Java is the Roman Catholic Cardinal Archbishop of Jakarta and Primate of Indonesia.

He was ordained as a priest on December 18, 1969 by Justinus Darmojuwono and was placed in Yogyakarta for work. He was made archbishop of Semarang again by Justinus Darmojuwono on June 29, 1983. On April 28, 1984 He was also made bishop of the Indonesian Armed Forces (ABRI).

Upon the death of Justinus Darmojuwono, he was made Cardinal on November 26, 1994, and upon the death of Leo Soekoto was also made archbishop of Jakarta on January 11, 1996.

As a Cardinal, he participated in the Papal Conclave on 2005, which elected Pope Benedict XVI.
