Julio Cardeñosa Rodríguez (born October 27, 1949 in Valladolid), usually referred to as simply Cardeñosa, is a former Spanish international football who also played for Real Valladolid and Real Betis.

Cardeñosa arrived at Real Betis from Real Valladolid in 1974, where he played until 1985. He was a left footed midfielder who had immense technical ability and a deceivingly thin physical build. Cardeñosa was also part of the Real Betis team that won the Copa del Rey in 1977.

He earned 8 caps for the Spain national football team from 1977 to 1980, and was part of the Spanish team for the 1978 FIFA World Cup and Euro 80.

Cardeñosa managed the youth team of Real Betis along with the first team in the year 1989 through to 1991.
