Julie Wimmer (born October 18, 1975 in Ostrava, Czech Republic) is a designer in the field of jewelry and glass. She designs and creates original author's works decorated with gemstones, semi-precious stones and precious metals.
Since her childhood she has addicted herself to creative art and handicraft. After finishing studies at grammar school she lived and studied in Switzerland and Great Britain for several years. In London she attended children's book illustration workshops at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Since 1999 she has lived in Prague but she has also drawn her inspiration from her trips to Asia, Africa and America.
FashionOffice, prestigious magazine about trends in the world of fashion, art, luxury and beauty, classify Czech jewelry designer Julie Wimmer as top of designers. She extended Czech presentation on FashionOffice.org,thanks to her jewelry collection for spring/summer 2006 "Elegance with positive energy".
The studio develops successful cooperation with fashion designers, in the course of which unique art works emphasizing and completing individual models arise.
On festive occasions, works from Julie Wimmer Designstudio have been given as a gift to a lot of renowned artists, performers, distinguished personalities and politics. Unique jewels are intended for exceptional personalities.
