Juliana Jendo

Juliana Jendo is an Assyrian-American singer. She lives in Michigan. She composed and performed the children's song Alap Beth as well as Lele Kool Watan Yima, A jowanka manileh, Ayneh Kharshaneh, and many other songs in Aramaic, as well as a smaller number of songs in Arabic and Kurdish. She has two CDs that are completly in Arabic. She recently performed some of her long time hits at this year's Assyrian Food Festival and Carnival in Encino, CA. She is also know as the "Queen of Assyrian Singers"
Jendo was profiled in the 2006 documentary The Last Assyrians (Les Derniers Assyriens).
