Julian Ovenden

Julian Ovenden is an English television and film actor.

He is currently best known for his part in the television series Foyle's War , a BAFTA-award winning detective series set in Hastings, England, during World War II, in which he stars opposite Michael Kitchen. He plays Kitchen's character's son, Andrew Foyle, a Royal Air Force fighter pilot and is a prominent player in several episodes, and a minor character in others.

Julian Ovenden starred in the UK production of Grand Hotel. He will be starring on Broadway this season alongside Nathan Lane in Butley.

In The Royal, a spinoff from Heartbeat, he played the major character Dr. David Cheriton, who met a tragic end.

In 2006, Ovenden had a recurring role as Jason Greenstein in the short-lived American television series Related. In 2007, he stars as Eric Burden, the husband of Zoe (played by Frances O'Connor) in the ABC television series, Cashmere Mafia.
