Julian Fantechi is an American male model who has appeared in many magazines and on television . He was born in San Diego, California on 16 February 1976. He is primarily of Italian descent. He was a model for Men's Health magazine, appearing in the publication 5 times. He also appeared in several fitness magazines, exercise videos and has appeared on several television shows. He has a Master's degree from New York University where he was awarded a full scholarship.

Playgirl magazine named Fantechi their Man of the Year for 2007; he had appeared in the magazine three times prior to the award and was its cover model and centerfold for the August 2006 issue. In addition to his appearances in Playgirl, Fantechi has also been on the covers of Exercise for Men, Men and many others.

In March 2007 the New York Daily News reported that he was both a nude model as well as an occupational therapist for the New York City Dept. of Education.[1]

Fantechi continues to work actively as a model while continuing his work with the City of New York Department of Education. His mainstream work includes appearing on the December 2006 cover of Men's Exercise, performing as an extra on the ABC sitcom Ugly Betty, and modeling for a Saks Fifth Avenue ad campaign. He is also currently perfecting his acting skills and has been appearing in local community theater projects.
