Julia Haydee Mora Maza (born October, 10, 1969 in San Salvador) is an El Salvadorean-beauty queen.

Julia Mora was married to Dennis Peterson, in the late 80's. Mora is known for her popularity as a former Miss El Salvador linked romantically to Puerto Rican actor Erik Estrada and Venezuelan soap opera actor, Fernando Carrillo, known for his most popular: Rosalinda. Julia Haydee Mora is a not only a former Miss El Salvador, but also awriter, actress and model. She started as a ballerina dancer when she was 9 years old, performing in the National Theatre of San Salvador. At 16 she had an offer to host the musical show "Oti" in El Salvador, and because of her great performance, the production director of television channel 4, Miguel Aguilar, hired her to work as a model, lead voice and model's coordinator for the television station. She was crowned "Miss El Salvador" and participated in the Miss Universe Pageant, celebrated in Miami, Florida. Out of the 79 contestants, Julia was selected by the media as one of the 10 favorites to win the crown, but the pageant did not give her the chance to make it to the finalists. Because of the civil war in her country, Julia received political asylum in the U.S. and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. Now, Julia is an American citizen and has already been in a movie in English, called "Patriotas", has partcipated in different television shows in Hollywood, had a one year contract with "Sainte Limited" to model for one year. Julia also has worked as a writer for important magazines in Spanish in the U.S. like "TV y Novelas", "MIRA", etc. and also worked as a writer for a company that produces TV shows for Telemundo, in Los Angeles, California.
