Julia Hills

Julia Hills is a British actress, best known on TV for being a member of the cast of Channel 4's sometimes controversial comedy sketch series Who Dares Wins in the 1980s.
She has appeared in numerous other TV programmes, most notably as a semi-regular in the hospital drama Casualty, but also playing Rona in 1990s BBC sitcom 2point4 Children. She played Beryl in series 2 of Dad for the BBC with George Cole and Kevin McNally.
She was nominated for an Olivier Award in 1984 for her performance as Emily Tallentire in Howard Goodall and Melvyn Bragg's The Hired Man.
She is a former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company where she played many roles including Sally Forth in the premiere of Peter Nichols' musical Poppy. She was also Edwin Drood in The Mystery of Edwin Drood at The Savoy Theatre in 1987 playing opposite Lulu and Ernie Wise.
She has performed at The Orange Tree Richmond, Manchester Library Theatre, Nuffield Theatre Southampton, Watford Palace Theatre, Theatre Royal York, Leicester Haymarket and Bristol Old Vic.
She is currently appearing as Annabelle Scrivener in The Archers on Radio 4.
She is married to Actor/Director Paul Clarkson whom she met in The Hired Man and has three children.
