Julia Görges (born November 2, 1988 in Bad Oldesloe) is a professional tennis player from Germany. at the 2007 US. Open, she qualified for the main draw, but lost 6–0, 6–3 to number one Justine Henin in the first round, despite coming very close to breaking Henin.[1][2]. As of September 4, 2007, Julia has reached a career high singles ranking of World Number 139 on August 13, 2007, and World Number 370 for doubles on July 9, 2007. As of September 4, she is ranked 145th for singles and 429th for doubles. She hasn't won a WTA title, but has won 4 ITF singles titles, and 2 ITF doubles titles.
