Julia DeVillers is the author of several books including How My Private, Personal Journal Became A Bestseller [1]. She made a cameo in the 2006 Disney Channel Original Movie, Read It and Weep, which was based on the book [1]. She also wrote "Girlwise: How to Be Confident, Capable, Cool, and In Control" which is also published by Random House [2] and "The College Dorm Survival Guide: How to Survive and Thrive in Your New Home Away from Home". She also writes the "Tuned In" series, sold exclusively at Limited Too, and written for pre teen girls.
A 1989 graduate of SUNY Oswego, she went on to earn her Masters at The Ohio State University. Her third book is based on her experiences at SUNY-Oswego

When Julia was younger she created a list of things she wanted to do when she was older. This list included things like, "be published" "have a cute boyfriend" and others. This list turned out to be the inspiration for How My Private, Personal Journal Became a Bestseller.
