Julia Buckley is a writer and journalist. She works for the BBC and some others and is best known for writing web content aimed at teenagers. She has a website and weblog charting her progress with her first novel, which she says is already very popular.

Julia Buckley is based in London, but originally comes from Stoke-on-Trent. She began her career working at BBC Radio Stoke. Her first full-time writing job was with a start-up website aimed at teenage girls called wowgo.com, now defunct. Julia then moved to work for BBC Online where she was staff for a while, but she now appears to be mainly working as a freelance.
