Talk:Juked
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This recent addition:
"Shortly after its 1999 launch, Juked.com featured a message board component that was quite popular with its 'regulars' who included several staff writers. The popular 'Phone Sex With Maureen' thread garnered over 300 messages and in 1999 the popular saying 'Hey Dickface John' was derived from hate-spam received on the message board. As Juked.com grew in popularity and attempted to earn a level of 'legitimacy', the predominance of spam and hate messages forced editors to shut down the message board. One of the co-founders of Juked wrote under the psuedonym of Chuck Byun."
Seems inconsequential to the history of the publication. Maybe this article should be moved into the Journals/Serials category (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Serials%2C_periodicals_and_journals).
