Juicy The Emissary, born in Denton, Texas, is an independent hip hop artist in North Texas.
[edit] Background
Juicy the Emissary is a native of Denton, TX. A lifelong musician, Juc produced his first beats in 2000 with a guitar, a bass, a belt drive turntable, and a TASCAM four-track mixer. Since then, he has upgraded his production toolbox and helped build the independent hip hop scene in North Texas.
Juicy is the founder of Denton hip hop fivesome, Vortexas and a purveyor of quality beats for dozens of other artists in the greater Dallas area.[1] In addition to his work with Vortexas, The Emissary works closely with other Denton area artists Soul Relentless, Fab Deuce, Lejend, Neighborhood All Stars, and others. Juc's 2007 release, New World Renaissance Mixtape #1 displays his range as a producer and showcases the web of rappers with whom he has collaborated.[2]
