Jugodisk is a record label from Voždovac, Belgrade, Serbia.^[1]

Jugodisk was established in 1974, in the then Socialist Republic of Serbia in SFR Yugoslavia, hence its name is a portmanteau word of Jugoslavija (Yugoslavia) and disk (for a vinyl record).^[2] It's competitors were the bigger record companies such as Jugoton from Zagreb formed in 1947 and PGP-RTB also from Belgrade, formed in 1958 and others.

The company is notable for releasing several prominent former Yugoslav pop and rock artists such as: Partibrejkers, Balkan, Rok Mašina, U Škripcu, Oktobar 1864, Aleksandar Makedonski, Jutro which was a predecessor to the famous group Bijelo dugme, and one of the early albums of Hari Varešanović, who later represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest. Also, it released several albums by the popular folk music singer Šaban Šaulić.

As Jugoton and PGP-RTB, Jugodisk was also licenced to release foreign titles for the domestic Yugoslav market which included certain albums and singles by: The Animals, Bad Manners, Shirley Bassey, The Beat, George Benson, Black Sabbath, Johnny Cash, The Fall, Gerry And The Pacemakers, Eddy Grant, Bill Haley & His Comets, Roy Harper, Jimmy Page, The Kinks, Matchbox, Moody Blues, Willie Nelson, Alan Parsons Project, Dolly Parton, Wilson Pickett, Iggy Pop, Chris Rea, Stray Cats, Toyah, Wishbone Ash and Yardbirds.

In 2003, the company was sold at a state auction to the show business manager Nikola Vujović and since then it operates as Jugodisk A.D. (joint stock company)^[3]
