From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Judacris! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk Pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? :)

I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. We can use all the help we can get! Have a nice day. Sincerely, Ryan 10:11, August 5, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Teenagerish

Regarding Amy Rose, "teenagerish" isn't a word. Remember we're trying to write a relatively coherent encyclopedia here, accessible to even non-native speakers of English. While "teenagerish" may be "cute" and "more fitting" to the Amy Rose character, it certainly isn't language fitting to an encyclopedia. Thanks for understanding and happy editing! --Jtalledo (talk) 13:08, 13 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:HabboHotelR12Trading.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:HabboHotelR12Trading.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:25, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
