[edit] Scope and name
Article name was chosen to fit summary style of Religion and ecology and to ensure a coherent, broad scope. Jewish environmentalism is also notable, I set this up as a redirect, it is more narrow and does not fit those scholars/teachings that would not self-identify as environmentalist. Also, the title allows discussion of basic principles and teachings on nature, the human relationship to nature, etc. The proceedings of the major Harvard conference, which covers a strong full scope, is entitled Judaism and Ecology (Tirosh-Samuelson, 2002, HUP).
It'd suggest setting up the structure by subtopics, as started already, rather than by denominations. Thanks. HG | Talk 20:44, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
