Judith Potter

Judith Marjorie Potter (born 1942) was made a High Court Judge in New Zealand in 1997.

Justice Potter graduated from the University of Auckland in 1965, and went on to become a senior partner at law firm, Kensington Swan.

She is the former President of the Auckland District Law Society and the New Zealand Law Society.

In 2005 Justice Potter allegedly presided over a case involving her brother-in-law without mentioning the relationship.[1]

In 2007 she made news headlines when she jailed Vince Siemer for his continual breaches of a High Court injunction.
