Juchitán is a settlement, and the surrounding municipality of the same name, in the Mexican state of Guerrero. It is part of the region of the state known as the Costa Chica.

In the 2005 INEGI census, the municipal seat reported a population of 2,944, compared to 6,240 for the municipality as a whole. [1]

The municipality of Juchitán was created on 5 March 2004 with its escision from the municipality of Azoyú; as of the time of writing, it is Guerrero's newest municipality.
