The statement that these stamps were issued to honour the golden jubilee is incorrect. The timing was coincidental. They have become known as the jubilee issue over time.

I've tinkered with the text, hopefully improving, and expanded a bit too. Stan 13:24, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
