Jubeat (pronounced you-beat), is an upcoming arcade music video game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan, and is a part of Konami's Bemani line of music video games. The game has been on several location tests since December 2007 and the game is expected to be released before the end of 2008.[1] The cabinet utilizes a total of 15 screens, with 14 of them arranged in a 4x4 grid used to play the game.

[edit] Gameplay

The basic gameplay of Jubeat is similar to Nintendo DS music games such as Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan and Elite Beat Agents and can be considered to be similar to Whac-A-Mole. Animated explosions are shown within the screens synced to a track of the player's choosing; when they fill up inside a screen, the player must tap the corresponding screen to score points.
