[edit] President of the Government
Negrín was "Presidente del Gobierno" or "Presidente del Consejo"? I believed the first term was invented during Franco's dictatorship. In that case, instead of using the term President of the Government in the article it'd be better to say simply Prime Minister, the, in my opinion, best English translation in any case. [edit] What is S.E.R.E.?
The article talks about the S.E.R.E., but, what was it? What does the acronym mean? MJGR 10:49, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Succession
The succession box claims Negrin was followed by Franco. However, the Republican government continued its activity in exile after the end of the war. So, who succeded Negrín, Franco or the next official president of the Republican government? MJGR 10:52, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Stub
I've added the stub tag because I believe the article can be seriously expanded and it can't be considered complete. MJGR 10:56, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV?
This entry doesn't really carry the same tone as the other articles relating to the Spanish Civil War. Also, it doesn't mention the extralegal purges of non-stalinist leftists by spanish communists (most notably, the abduction, torture, and murder of Andreas Nin) and Negrin's attempt to curtail the violence.
[edit] GOLD
- Whatever the truth about the widely-circulated gold story, it should be certainly be addressed in this article. AnonMoos 16:56, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
