This link shows he spent some time on loan at belgrano in argentina, http://touchline.onthespot.co.uk/stats/Welcome.asp?Cust=405 (The GFP 20:09, 15 November 2007 (UTC))

I found no other sources showing that he played for Belgrano. According to this Portuguese-language link, he returned to Brazil in 2004, and stayed in the country since that year. I removed this info, as it is obviously wrong. There is an Argentine player named Juan Maldonado who played for Belgrano in the Argentine 2006/2007 season, according to this link. --Carioca (talk) 05:29, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
