[edit] Bayern Munich finnal
The anegdote of the Champions lueage finnal is quite funny. The tournament was decided by one single match, and Atletico was wining 1-0 when, in the very last minute, when german defender Schwarzenbeck rejected the ball surprising the Spanih goalkeeper Miguel Reina, who was not in his possition, for he was giving his gloves to someone as a present.
Therefore, a second final was to be played, which Atletico lost 4-0.
That's why I said the Atletico lost inthe final second. Actually, he lost the victory in the final second of the first match, and lost the cup in the second match. (See this) Mariano(t/c) 07:15, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

- (Araca la ortografia man!) It would be interesting to know whether JCL also coached Atletico when they defeated Independiente for the 1974 Intercontinental. Also, Boca's Intercontinental v. Borussia was in 1977 and not in 1978. Before returning to Boca for a (very dim) last stint, Lorenzo was semi-retired. Ah, and on that last season, yours truly was one of some 50 Estudiantes fans present in La Bombonera the day Boca lost to Estudiantes... elpincha 14:13, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
(La hortografia nunca fue mi fuerte) Nope, Luis Aragonés was the coach at the time IC74. True, Boca won the Intercontinental Cup 1977, but it did so in 1978 (March 21 and August 1, 1978) IC77. I'll revise it. I'm glad you had a good time at the Bombonera that time but, you could have done a bit better last week against River, couldn't you? :oP Mariano(t/c) 17:21, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
