Juan Ruiz Anchia

Cinematographer Juan Ruiz Anchia was born in Bilbao, Spain in 1949. He graduated in 1972 from the Escuela Official de Cinematografia in Madrid and from the American Film Institute in 1979. His AFI film, Miss Lonelyhearts, won a prize at Cannes Film Festival and was shown on PBS. Notable cinematography credits: James Foley's adaptation of David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross and At Close Range with Sean Penn and Christopher Walken.
