Juan Pistarini

Juan Pistarini Pedemonte (1882-1956) was an Argentine general and politician.
Pistarini was born in the town of Victorica, La Pampa Province. He served as Minister of Public Works (1942-52) and as marine, agriculture minister and interior minister. He was vice president of the republic during Edelmiro Farrell's presidency (1945-46).
The Ministro Pistarini International Airport of Buenos Aires is named after him.
