Juan Pablo Di Pace

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Juan Pablo Di Pace (born 25 July 1979 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentinian-born actor and model.

Di Pace starred in the video for the 2004 Eric Prydz hit Call On Me. In the video, he is the only man amongst a group of women in an aerobics class. He also directed and starred in the sequel What a Feeling by Hughes Corporation in 2006, which is loosely based on dance sequences from Flashdance. Both videos feature Deanne Berry.

He also appears in the film Survival Island along with Billy Zane, of Titanic fame. The release of Survival Island has been postponed several times due to a controversy between actress and lingerie model Kelly Brook and the production company over graphic sex scenes with Juan Pablo Di Pace, in 2004 dubbed by British media as "raunchier than The Blue Lagoon". It was set to open in the UK in the spring of 2006.

Prior to this he starred in the London musical Chicago, and fronted posters for the production shown all over the United Kingdom.

In 2005 he joined the cast of BBC Scotland soap River City, playing the character of Luca Rossi.

Of Argentine descent, Juan Pablo Di Pace studied in Europe and speaks Spanish, Italian and English. He was educated at the United World College of the Adriatic in Duino, nearby Trieste, Italy.
