Juan Manuel Peña Montaño (born January 17, 1973 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra) is a football defender from Bolivia, who plays for Celta Vigo in Spain. He has played over 80 international matches for the Bolivia national team[1], including an appearance in the 1994 FIFA World Cup.

He played for Club Blooming in Bolivia and Independiente Santa Fé in Colombia before moving to Spain. He was a solid player for Real Valladolid for many years, but when they were relegated from the Primera División Peña found himself a new team. During his first season at Villarreal CF he even scored a goal. He also was the captain of Bolivia in Copa América 2007, wore No. 2 shirt.
