Juan Maldonado Jaimez Junior[1] (born February 06, 1982 in São Paulo), better known as Juan is a Brazilian defender who currently plays for Flamengo.
He started his career with São Paulo FC before being signed by English side Arsenal in 2001. He only made two first-team appearances for Arsenal, his debut coming against Grimsby Town in the League Cup on November 27, 2001. He had a brief period on loan to Millwall in 2003, before he returned to Brazil to play for Fluminense in 2004. He moved to Flamengo in the summer of 2005. He scored one goal in the final of Brazil Cup against Vasco and named " man of the match" .
