Juan Gutiérrez Moreno (born July 23, 1976, Cádiz), commonly referred to as Juanito is Spanish footballer who currently plays as a defender for Real Betis and Spain. He is also the current captain of Real. He has previously played for Cádiz CF B, Real Betis B and Recreativo de Huelva.

Juanito made his debut for the senior Real Betis team in 2001 and has been a regular ever since. During his career at Betis he has helped them win the Copa del Rey in 2005 and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

[edit] Spanish national team

Juanito made his international debut for Spain on August 21 2002 against Hungary in a testimonial for Ferenc Puskás. His first goal for Spain came against the Ivory Coast in a 3-2 win. He also represented Spain at both Euro 2004 and the 2006 World Cup, scoring a header in the 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia.
