Juan Francia

Juan Francia was born on January 4, 1982 in Caracas, Venezuela. He is currently the second baseman for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. Francia is 5'9 and weighs 145 pounds. He is a switch hitter and throws right handed. Francia was signed as a non-drafted free agent in 1998 by the Detroit Tigers. In 2005, Francia was a Florida State League Mid-Season All-Star. He signed with the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball for the 2008 season.
