Juan Antonio Rivera

Juan Antonio Rivera (died 1860) was a Spanish historical painter of the 19th century. He became Director of the Prado Museum and of the Royal Academy of San Fernando at Madrid. His best known work, painted in 1836, is The Oath of the Prince of the Asturias.
