Juan Antonio Bayona (born 1975 in Barcelona) is a Spanish film director. He has a long career directing pop videos for famous Spanish musical groups as OBK, Camela or Ella baila sola and also directing commercials, for which he has regularly won awards. He directed two shorts which have won prizes at several festivals, Mis vacaciones (1999) and El hombre esponja (2002). The Orphanage is his first full-length film.
