These days I'm contributing to Citizendium, the expert-guided alternative to Wikipedia. The few edits I continued to make on Wikipedia until March 2008 mostly involved pages I created myself or heavily modified. See the box on the right, including all my contributions to date. You'll notice that Low Educated Second Language and Literacy Acquisition (LESLLA) is a red link - see my blog posting on this matter.
You can find my user page and contributions on Citizendium; consider also joining the project or just find out more from Citizendium itself, Wikipedia's article and the media. Oh, and if you are interested in LESLLA, you can read what Wikipedia apparently considers is not worth your knowing there - I uploaded the same article.
You don't need to abandon Wikipedia to test the Citizendium atmosphere, though some people have. Neither need you be an expert; just someone enthusiastic and willing to work with qualified people.
