I am a composer and trumpet player. I've got a little website that is not too frequently updated, though I'm working on that. Am applying for graduate study in composition at Harvard and Boston Conservatory to begin Fall of 2008, wish me luck. Since graduating from Oberlin with degrees in Music Composition and Trumpet performance in 2002, I took a break from the music scene for a while, and have only recently begun playing the trumpet diligently again. Some groups I've been playing in regularly since my comeback include the Charles River Wind Ensemble, the Dudley House Orchestra, the Boston Repertory Orchestra and the Harvard Wind Ensemble. I am hoping in the near future to put together a Brass Quintet or small Brass Ensemble with an emphasis on contemporary and challenging literature. Some ancillary interests include IP Law and the intersection of Medicine and the Law, retrogaming, and biking on my fixed-gear bicycle.
