Hello,
My name is Jamie Sheffield, and I love the idea of wikipedia, although I don't understand a lot of the details of the structure and protocol of this hive-mind project. Please excuse any unintentional faux pas while I am getting to know my way around.

[edit] Micronations
Thanks for your email and apologies for my delayed response. You might want to take a look this, as it represents the Wikipedia consensus that has evolved over the last few years on the subject of micronations, through dozens of AfD votes and talk page discussions involving many, many editors. The ones that conform to the principles I've outlined are almost always retained, while those that don't are almost always deleted. Oh, and a word of warning concerning Samboy - he's got a history of edit-stalking and generally causing trouble, motivated by the notion that no micronation apart from Sealand should be documented in Wikipedia, so it's best to ignore him. His statements on the subject tend to be big on hysterics and low on facts and logical consistency. --Gene_poole 02:35, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
