This is a logo of an organization, item, or event, and is protected by copyright and/or trademark. 1. It is used on the main article about the subject, and serves as a primary illustration for identification.
2. The resolution has been reduced from the original to make it presentable in the encyclopedic format. No substantial, or substantive, changes have been made to the meaning or presentation in these alterations.
3. It does not deprive the owner of any revenue, or opportunities, and the public use of such logos to identify their owners is a standard fair use rationale.
4. It is clear that no endorsement of the article is implied by the logo, nor is it likely that any confusion will occur from this placement.
5. No free substitute can be made, nor is it replaceable.

Fair use is also justified on Algerian Championnat National and List of football clubs in Algeria for the above reasons (2)-(5), with (1) replaced by "serves as primary mark of visual identification for the organization in question". Haemo 02:32, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
