Hi. I'm Jim. I'm 28; I live in St. Louis, Missouri in the U.S.; I'm a professional geek; I edit Wikipedia articles during lulls at work, and sometimes at home too. I also post under this username on the New Café (fka Café Utne), where I'm a volunteer host in a couple forums. Alternately, you can sometimes find my inane blatherings on my blog, though I don't always keep that current.

On July 14, 2005, I became an administrator on the English Wikipedia. I am not sure when I had my "milestone" edits (1000th, etc.), but Luxo's tool shows how many I have now on all the different wikis.

Since January 24, 2006, I have been helping answer e-mails on OTRS. I have been an admin on the OTRS interface since February 15, 2007.

I am mentioned once by name in the main article namespace on enwiki, at Conservapedia#Andrew Schlafly on Wikipedia, and once on frwiki, at fr:Conservapedia#Conservapedia et Wikipédia. Both were for a bit of press work I did for the Wikimedia Foundation.

Thanks to unified login, I have the username "Jredmond" on every public Wikimedia Foundation wiki. Most of my user pages link back to my user page on Meta.

If you're diligent and patient, you can probably find more dirt on me and stitch the rest together. Good luck!

It's really pretty simple:
Mind NPOV
Don't be a dick
Ignore all rules
