[edit] ARTINFO
Please do not add advertising or inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. In addition, you have used artinfo.com as a reference, where the artinfo article just quotes an initial article in The Times or The New York Times. The reference should be to the original article. [edit] Spamming
Some of your recent additions are useful, but others just state obvious facts about the artists, presumably as way of providing a link to the artinfo website. Please try and be selective. Your good faith could also be demonstrated by providing sources that don't all originate from the same place - then it would be clear that your primary aim is to improve articles, and not the promotion of a website.--Ethicoaestheticist (talk) 21:23, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] External Links / ArtInfo
Thank you for your recent edits to Wikipedia. There has been a concerned raised about the use of your account to an inappropriate external link (WP:EL) which may constitute spam. There is a discussion going on over at Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#ArtInfo_and_User:_JPLei regarding your edits since it appears that the only contributions you have made to Wikipedia is to add just enough content to source/cite/reference the ArtInfo website. This may also relate to WP:COI. It would be of great benefit to you and the wikipedia community if you reply to some of the posts on this page and/or over at Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#ArtInfo_and_User:_JPLei. [edit] Speedy deletion of Culture+Travel
A tag has been placed on Culture+Travel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Ged UK (talk) 21:19, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
