[edit] About "Genesis" album cover
Hi Jphillst, I removed that statement mainly because the quantity of shapes to album tracks don't match up. I think the statement should remain out of the article unless a reliable 3rd party source is found, as per WP:RS. If you think that bit of trivia should be included despite that Wikipedia policy, feel free to ask about it on Talk:Genesis (album) so other editors can have some input on the issue as well. If a consensus appears I'll abide by it. Cheers. Robotman1974 21:34, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hi again. I just saw your comment on Talk:Genesis (album). I'd never seen that track list image before, so I thought the statement was referring to the album cover. My original point about the numbers not matching is now moot. If you want to add that statement to the article again, I think you should upload that image to Wikipedia (under the fair use album artwork rationale) and then add it to the article as a thumbnail next to the statement. You can ask me for help if you want to know the best way of doing that. Cheers. Robotman1974 22:51, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tony Banks
If the edit was not vandalism, then I myself apologise. Removal of parts of articles is perfectly legitimate so long as you justify your decision on the talk page. Edits are also less likely to be identified as vandalism if you edit under a username, so if you had been logged in at the time I probably wouldn't have reverted it. Anyway thanks, keep up the good work, LibLord 14:41, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] About the recent merges
Removed the following from my comments in Talk:Nursery Cryme since it was rather critical of your actions in an unnecessarily public forum.
The thrust of your arguments for deleting this section is that you wish to necessitate having the song stubs restored to contain this information. This appears to be disrupting Wikipedia to make a point.
Pointed, tactical deletions against consensus are edit warring, and persisting with such edits may (even with proper edit summaries) be considered vandalism. Your Talk page comment was posted while the AFD discussion was still current; since your points were directly relevant to the AFD, you might have receive more replies there. / edg ☺ ☭ 13:04, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
