[edit] Srebrna Góra (Wapno)

Hi, you requested for translation of that article from Polish Wiki. I've just did it. Please, feel free to polish my Polish English and ask any questions if what I wrote is not clear. It very likely may be so, as the Polish article wasn't great. You'll see.--SylwiaS | talk 21:48, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Talk:Partitions_of_Poland#Requested_move

Hi, I have something extremely diverting for you! If you have a free minute, could you please check the requested move voting of Partitions of Poland to Partitions of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. As you'll see from discussion, we really need some outside view. BTW You are free to propose in the Partitions of Polithia section your favorite name for Polish-Lithuania Commonwealth. We believe that sooner or later one will be adopted in common usage. ;) Thanks.--SylwiaS | talk 22:54, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] User:Jpbrenna/Osprey Copyright Violations

I have a similar dilemna. I want to use the cover art from "Armies of the Muslim Conquest" to illustrate the equipment that these armies used in Battle of Badr, Battle of Uhud, and Islamic conquests. However, would I have to copy the entire cover or could I just get the art on the center? On one hand I know we're not allowed to go around snagging people's artwork. On the other, we are allowed to use the covers of various books. What do you think? Palm_Dogg 02:08, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I would value your opinion on this

The recent ugly behavior of a user in Istanbul Pogrom along with my fruitful collaborating with a Turkish editor on some articles have made me think if there is a way to deal with all this mutual suspicion among Greek and Turkish wikipedians. So I came up with the idea of a wikiProject where Greek and Turkish wikipedians work together assumming good faith and trying to overcome the said suspicion. I have written a draft of a proposal. I would greatly appreciate it if you would read it and comment on it. Could it be done? Is there any point in trying? Does it brake any wikipedia anti-cabal rules? Thank you in advance! -- Michalis Famelis 03:23, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
