Thank you. It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to respond to your messages. I guess I just hit the "edit this page" button! Also, the help I was requesting was that I could not get my footnotes to post down below the article and list the citations. I would like to change the title of the article on "Frank Matsura" to "Frank S. Matsura" because he always used his middle initial S. when he signed all of his photographs. i don't know how to do this.

Also, I put page numbers on most of the citations and will fill in the rest of the page numbers on Sunday when I have the other two reference books. Once that is done how is the suggestion at the top of the article about putting page numbers in the reference citations removed?

Lastly, if I wanted to add a few more Matsura photos from my private collection to the article (and they are all in the public domain because they were published prior to 1923 because he died in 1913) is there any kind of limit on how many photos can be down loaded to an article--particularly since Matsura is a famous photographer?

1. You can rename a page by "moving" it with the "move" tab at the top of the page. See Help:Moving a page for more info.
2. Each of the cleanup tags on an article is added by using a template code that looks like this: {{references}}. You should see something like that (with double curly braces) at the top of the page. Remove that, and save the page.
3. You should apply common sense here. Wikipedia doesn't exist to be a photo gallery, so you should choose the photos that have the most encyclopedic value to the article, and only upload and use those. Excessive images can overwhelm a reader, make the article difficult to read and edit, and make articles slower to load for those on poor connections. Hersfold ^(t/a/c) 06:02, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
