[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 15:41, 28 February 2008 (UTC) You got it! I'll start doing that from now on! JPalumbo (talk) 18:04, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.--Atlan (talk) 21:11, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Okay, thank you for the heads up. Anything I post due to GameInvasion.net is because there is no mention of HD videos anywhere on the Wiki. Besides the Wiki rules, I will not post if: 1) the same videos are up on the main website page, 2) devalues the wiki, or 3) some other side with HD videos is already up on the site. I WILL post if a site like IGN, GameDaily or 1up has put their link there. They all basically give the same information and I find that GameInvasion is not only different in the information it gives, it is more worth wile to the readers and contributes more to the site JPalumbo (talk) 20:17, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hi. It's still considering spamming, regardless of your motives. Most official sites contain HD trailers these days (I think you posted Game Invasion on the GTA4 page, and it definitely has HD trailers on its site), and some articles already link to places like Gametrailers, which includes HD video. GameInvasion being "more worth while" is completely subjective, and can't be used as a reasoning. Please read WP:EL, WP:Spam and stop posting the link. Thanks. Fin©™ 18:47, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
