This article is very weak. Joyce L. Kennard is an associate Justice of the California Supreme Court. I don't care about her leg, her gait, or her accent.
While written in an unbiased way, this article points out nothing useful, but plenty of things that small-minded individuals might focus on. (edit)

The Dutch East Indies were not invaded by Japan until January of 1942. I am puzzled as to how Justice Kennard could be born into a Japanese concentration camp eight (8) months before it would have been established. Either this is in error, or the birth date is in error.
