Joys Green

Joy's Green is a village in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, England. It consists of now mostly privately owned ex council houses and new builds.

It contains a village post office / shop, and a newly constructed recreation ground with playground equipment

On 22 June 2006, Gloucestershire County Council announced plans to close Joys Green Primary School effective 31 August 2008.[1] Children would attend Lydbrook Primary School in Upper Lydbrook, Gloucestershire instead.
