[edit] Career
Joyce Hyser played in various films throughout the early 1980s, the last of which — Just One of the Guys (1985) — achieved some cult status due to a scene in which Hyser's character, who had been posing at high school as a man, suddenly bares her breasts at the prom to prove she is a woman.[citation needed]
Hyser then mainly guest starred in many TV shows including a recurring role in L.A. Law.
In the early 2000s, she stopped appearing on TV in favor of once more making movies.
