Joya is the fifth album by Will Oldham, but the first (and only to date) album billed to his name, rather than the Palace or Bonnie 'Prince' Billy monikers. It was released in 1997 on Drag City Records. It also features Bob Arellano, Colin Gagon, and David Pajo.
Some copies of the album included a bonus disc entitled Little Joya (Drag City littleDC107), which was later reissued as a separate single in 1998 (Drag City DC107X).
In 2007, when the album became available for online download through the iTunes Store, the artist credit was changed to Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, with altered artwork reflecting the change.
