Joy FM is also the main domestic evening programme of China Radio International. It is aired on Easy FM in Beijing and Shanghai and networked to other stations across Mainland China. It was one of CRI's first ventures into domestic broadcasting in the early 1990s. It has usually been presented by a Western man and a Chinese woman, who chat in English and Mandarin respectively, and play music (usually English-language light pop).
